Join the Office for Sexual Violence Response, Support and Education - Consent McGill and Vent Over Tea for a free, interactive virtual workshop on how to support someone impacted by sexual and gendered violence.![]()
This workshop, happening on Tuesday April 13th from 5:45PM to 7:30PM EDT, will help participants learn about the various effects that sexual violence can have on individuals and communities and about the key components to providing trauma-informed support when someone discloses. ![]()

The Inno-moti-vation Pedagogical Project is hiring a Research Assistant!![]()
Deadline to apply: Tuesday, April 6th, 2021![]()
Wage: 16$/hour + vacation/holiday pay & other obligatory deductions Hours: 324 hours![]()
Start/End Dates: May 1st, 2021 – August 31st, 2021![]()
Duties:
- participate in a review of pedagogical literature relevant to the Inno-moti-vation project (partake in the building of the project bibliography by finding pertinent literature and writing critical summaries of this literature)
- contribute to the exploration of new digital tools (such as apps and websites) that could be integrated into the project in the future
- compile data to prepare it for analysis
- create transcriptions of interviews that have been done within the scope of the project
- translate the pedagogical scenarios from French to English in preparation for online
publication
- update the project’s website![]()

Required Skills: Applicants must be bilingual (French & English), organized, able to work autonomously, detail-oriented and have good research as well as critical analysis abilities. Experience in transcription, translation and compilation of data would be an asset.![]()
