AUS Writing Centre
The Essay Writing Centre is now launched for the Winter 2025 Semester! The centre offers free workshops and essay assistance to Arts and ArtSci students.
The AUS Writing Centre is a student-led initiative dedicated to helping over 8,000 undergraduate students in McGill University’s Faculty of Arts improve their academic writing skills. Whether you are starting an assignment, revising a draft, or refining a final submission, we are here to support you at every stage of the writing process. Our tutors provide guidance on developing strong arguments, organizing essays effectively, improving clarity, and refining grammar and citations. Sessions are designed to offer constructive feedback and actionable advice that empowers you to take control of your writing process. While tutors will not rewrite your work and create arguments for you, they will help you refine your writing and build confidence as a capable and independent writer.
