POSITION :                                      RESEARCH ASSISTANT

DEPARTMENT :                             School of Social Work

PROJECT :                                       Couple Therapy in the context of Trauma & Same Sex Marriage     

LOCATION :                                   3506 University Room 425

WAGE :                                            $9.60 / HEURE MINIMUM 

HOURS :                                            winter & spring/summer session 2012; hours variable

DUTIES :      Coordinate research projects

Research activities including literature review and critical analysis

Data collection and analysis

Assist with applying for research grants and ethics review processes

Administer standardized tests and engage in intake interviews

General administrative tasks including transcription and filing

REQUIRED SKILLS :       Excellent verbal and written communication

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, SPSS,

Excellent typing and word processing skills for data collection

Interest in couple and family research and trauma
